ARE YOU LOOKING AHEAD OF THE CURVES?

Let me ask you a quick question. Did the picture to the right create a curiosity within you? How did you react about the way this wall was built? I was so mesmerized with this wall that I had to find out more. Let me tell you what I learned.

These “wavy walls” or crinkle crankle garden walls are well known in England. The curves make these walls stronger than  straight walls. In a straight wall, the builder needs at least two layers of bricks to provide the stability that is needed. With the wavy walls only one layer is needed, thus being more economical and stronger.
